letter from NZ to England

 November 24 1866

Dear family

I have arrived in new Zealand by ship. The ride took 6 weeks it was cold wet and windy. I am happy to be on solid ground and not on water. 

My house is made out of wood and is cold. My dad made is and is is not that comfy there are rats in the roof.

I do the washing I do the dishes.

Life is really hard and I don't like it.

 How are the pets and my little cousins doing?

MakeyMakey Game Controller

So we have made a game controller with what conduits for PAC.  Then we went around seeing how much controllers worked and what controllers didn't work and then we gave some feedback about if it was easy to play PAC man with the controllers or if it was really hard.

What is your favourite animal?

I decided to work on how many people liked animals for maths. 

In maths we had to fin out about a topic.

I chose favourite animal.

First I gathered my data on to this telly chart in my book.

then I put it in to a graph.

I found out that the dog and bunny's were the most popular animal. 

What i learned at te papa

Something i found intresting was finding out how people sailed without maps. i learned that fish stay close to land. They also used the sun and stars, like the movie Moana.

my letter home

Dear friends and family

Today I nearly got shot and some of my friends also died. I can't sleep to the sound of gunshots and the food that I have is not really good. My ams ache. I feel itchy and there is not much water.

I feel homesick and I can't wait to come home and finally sleep because i am really tired of listening to gunshots. The trenches are dirty and muddy. I'm sick of sitting in the trenches.

I’m sad and want to come home. And when I was trying to climb up a hill an enemy was shooting at us. And my bag is so heavy that I want to fall or take my bag off.
